Travel the Road to Transformation

This post was written by Daniela Forte.

In the last few days or maybe longer than that, it seems like the word “transformation” has been circulating everywhere in my life. Transformation can be a scary word, because transforming is the bigger and fancier word for change and change isn’t necessarily something I am comfortable with.

But as the old saying goes, “the only constant in life is change.” We can’t stop it, circumstances in our lives push us everyday to change. Whether it is a new job, a new adventure, new people or a loss of some kind. Transformation however, allows us to start new, it’s almost as if it is the first day of a new year where we make resolutions to start over. As scary as that is, it is also exciting. We don’t know what to expect, we don’t know what lies before us.

What transformation brings us is the opportunity to shine. We are able to bring out our best selves to the front lines and radiate into the people we are destined to be.

Transformation doesn’t mean that we are any less of the person we once were or that you are any less the person people know you to be, we are just reinventing the wheel.

Some of the hardest moments in my life, the ones where I felt like my life was over and that I could not get up to face the day were the ones that forced me to transform. These were some of the best moments. They were the moments where there was a lot of clarity, a lot of soul searching, and understanding. It’s wasn’t always comfortable, in fact it was horrible, but those were the moments I remember the most because it was when I had to embrace whatever was in front of me.

What is also very fascinating about transformation and I’ve seen it each time my life has changed, it seems like a new cast of characters came to play a new role. Whether it was to teach me something, strengthen me in places where I needed it most or just allowed me to try something new.

How do you lead yourself down the road to transformation? Simply, get up everyday and face the world. Try something new, do something different, meditate, relax, meet new people and allow yourself to live!

How do you radiate daily?
