Five Easy Ways to Exercise On-The-Go

It’s summer. And before you know it (don’t hate me) the holidays will be here. We’re constantly on the go…we’re constantly traveling. We’re constantly busy and need to be able to stay in shape without the fuss and muss.

Whether I’m running to a meeting and only have 30 minutes in the AM (at home), at a friend’s house, or at a hotel, I try to focus on the following easy fitness routines:

1. Squats – 3 sets of 15 (preferably with a weight. Don’t have one? Use a book or something else heavy that can substitute)

2. Lunges – 3 sets of 12 walking lunges

3. Burpees – 3 sets of 12

4. Wall sit – 3 sets of 25 seconds

5. Pushups – 3 sets of 10

Bonus: Planks – 60 to 90 seconds (preferably switching from elbow to full plank)
